Magic Triangle was looking to create a marketing campaign that showcased their talented line-up, and heralded their fifteen year history.

Despite being in business so long, Magic Triangle has yet to develop a consistent brand. For this year, I designed a logo for the series. I decided the imagery associated with the concerts should mimics the name - thus the posters were cut to be triangle in shape. The materials were printed two-color, the indigo and black palette calls to mind jazz album covers of the bebop era. The "magical" imagery, that was used on each poster, ad, and on the website, added to the overall mood.

The bold new image for Magic Triangle, paired with the odd-shaped posters, successfully caught the attention of ticket buyers, and sales dramatically increased for 2004.
