The Fine Arts Center, faced with budget cuts, was looking to create a marketing piece that would encompass the entire season of events.
In the past, mailers were sent for each series of performances. The brochures were time sensitive, and as the shows passed they were discarded.
I decided to create a calendar style folded brochure that included the whole season. The object of the calendar style was costumers would receive it in the mail, and read through it. On the calendar people can circle the performances they are interested in, then stick the brochure on their fridge - as a reminder.
The idea worked, and attendance went up for the Spring season. Increased ticket sales offset the decrease in the budget.
